So, here are the books being published in December that have caught my eye, with purchase links. Not such a long list this time as most Christmas gift books and stationery have already been published. There are also a couple of books that I missed recently.
The release dates are based on Book Depository, so Amazon release dates may vary.
Let me know if there's a book here that you'd like me to review.

Millie Marotta's Wild Savannah

What made you start colouring?

My friend received a colouring book for her birthday last year (2015) and immediately it got my attention. I think I went looking for an adult colouring book that same week. I found a little Mindful Colouring book. We now have a group of girls who meet monthly to colour and eat!
My friend Nikita and I colour together regularly (we are convinced we will not survive more than 2 days without colouring)!

Do you consider colouring to be an art?

Definitely! It amazes me how different people colour the same picture. I have seen some amazing colouring in the various Facebook groups. To me, anything that expresses creativity and skill is art. The artist might have drawn the picture, but colouring gave it uniqueness, life and emotion (in my opinion). No disrespect to artists intended.

What materials do you like to use?

I love my Albrecht Durer pencils, but I also have Prismas, Tombows and Staedtler Luna pencils. I started with Faber Castell Classics and do still use them, depending what I am colouring and what effect I want. I also like using a blender pencil for some pieces, but prefer to use a white pencil to blend most of the time. Occasionally I use a gel transparent glitter pen for effect.

Legendary Worlds

Tangled Fantasies by Jane Monk

Which is your favourite colouring book?

Millie Marotta! I love all Millie's books! My other favourites are Jane Monk's Tangled books (I have all of them too) and Legendary Worlds. These are my top three at the moment.

Do you frame your finished colourings? Or display them?

I have not framed or displayed any yet. If I were to frame any, I would most likely make a copy, as I cannot imagine taking a page out of one of my books.

What is your favourite colour?

Definitely shades of blue and blue green.
