18: Purrfect!

Can you ever have too many notecards and postcards? Can you ever have too many cats to colour in?

Comment:

I think these are a lovely collection of notecards. The variety of drawing style is fantastic and I'll be trying to track down more drawings from some of these artists.

Drawing:

The images are from many different artists, sourced via Shutterstock and the list of artists is at the back of the booklet. As you'd expect, there are many different styles of images which you can see in the video above. This is actually an advantage in a collection of notecards as you can match the style of drawing to the recipient.
There are several cats filled with flowers in the style of Millie Marotta. Others have many cats in different poses, capturing cat nature really well. Others have quite a lot of background detail. And others are quite realistic drawings like the one I coloured above.

Layout and Paper:

Firstly, please note that there are no envelopes included with these notecards.
The cards are loosely gummed into the spine so that you can carefully detach them as you need to.
There is a title page and back page that you could use to try out your pens to see if they bleed through. There is also a thick cardboard back cover to give a firm backing while you're colouring.
Each card has an indentation down the centre for you to fold the card over. The quotation is mostly included on the back of the card and several cards also have images or even a textural quote inside the card. There is a mix of portrait and landscape format.
