Brush Pens: So Which is the Least Streaky?

Water-based brush pens are so light to use and you can use them in many colouring books without bleed through, although you need to be careful not to over colour with them.
The brush tips can vary a lot in quality and you get what you pay for.
But what about streaking?

I have three different brands of brush pens and I've been noticing varying degrees of streakiness in them so I decided to do this little experiment on streakiness.
Brush pens have many wonderful features but here I'm just focusing on the streakiness feature when colouring anything larger than a small segment.

The three brands I own, in alphabetical order are -

Artline Stix brush pens - these are sold in packs only and cost about NZ$1.60 each

Faber-Castell Pitt pens - these pens can be bought individually and in packs. The individual price is about NZ$4.95 each

Tombow Brush pens - these are sold individually and in packs. The individual price is about NZ$6.99 each.

So now for the little show and tell! There's no correct answer as it will depend on what you see. I tried this out on the four people living here, and predictably, one person made a different decision to the rest of us!

Which brand below is the least streaky? Brand A, B or C?

Below you'll see examples of a dark and paler colour for each brand of pen.

The area I coloured is 2.5 x 2.5cm  and I didn't go over the colouring. The paper is just ordinary copying paper.

Brand A

Brand B

Brand C

Well, that was interesting.
Brand A - Tombow
